The stack of comics & collections waiting for me when I got to Marvel HQ this morning. And the comic on top? MYSTIC, which is one of my absolute favorite books right now. Very excited to read that.
And yes, there’s a rubber band around the comics. I don’t care. I read comic books, I expect them to get dinged up and lose their “near mint” value. Plus, after I read them, I share them with someone else. Pass ‘em along, spread the love, etc.
OOOH, and that thick MARVEL FIRSTS: THE 1960s collection is very cool. It’s all first appearances from, yes, the ’60s. There are a bunch of extra covers and little bits thrown in there for good measure. That’s a great book to give to someone looking to get into comics.
He has my dream job. Can we switch jobs, please?!
